First, please choose the right anti-skid studs. Choose matching anti-skid studs according to the vehicle model, tire size and use environment, such as tungsten carbide anti-skid tire studs, aluminum anti-skid studs or ceramic materials. Jinxin tungsten carbide anti-skid studs can match the harsh winter road environment and are more wear-resistant.
Secondly, choose tools and install them according to professional advice or instructions. There are usually two types of pneumatic or manual press-in special anti-skid stud installation tools. The optimal installation density is usually 20-40 per tire. Use the installation tool to press the anti-skid tire studs vertically into the tire tread, ensuring that the nail heads are completely embedded in the rubber. Avoid tilting or forceful knocking to prevent damage to the carcass structure.
After installation, turn the tire to observe whether the anti-skid studs protrude evenly without looseness or skewness. Test at a low speed (recommended not to exceed 30 km/h) to confirm that there is no abnormal noise or vibration.
At the same time, please note that anti-skid studs are only used on low-friction roads such as ice, snow, and mud, and are disabled on dry roads, otherwise they will accelerate tire wear and damage the road surface. Most countries have a maximum speed limit of 80-100 km/h for studded tires, depending on local regulations.
